The Admissions Forum has been designed for prospective students who are interested in Fall 2008 enrollment in one of Pacifica Graduate Institute's graduate degree programs. In addition to the information meetings, you will have the opportunity to complete your application and talk with core faculty members from each program.

Take advantage of this valuable opportunity to

• Learn about Pacifica's two unique learning formats
• Explore Pacifica's resources, including the graduate research library, bookstore and computer resource center
• Discuss admissions and financial aid procedures
• Learn more about Pacifica’s six graduate degree programs through faculty-led, program-specific information meetings
  

Applying to Pacifica
The Institute continues to accept applications for Fall 2008 enrollment on a space-available basis. Please be sure to contact the Admissions Office to discuss the admissions process.

General Information

Locations and Accommodations:

The Admissions Forums with be held at Pacifica’s Ladera Lane Campus:  Located on 35 acres in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the residential retreat center is located approximately 10 miles south of Santa Barbara and has lodging and parking on site. The Ladera Campus has lodging and dining facilities. Accommodations are simple, dormitory-style rooms with shared bath and shower. Reservations for rooms must be made through Pacifica’s Public Program office. Please reserve your room on the registration form. A limited number of rooms are available at the Ladera Campus for participants on a first-come, first-served basis at a special rate of  $80 per night single occupancy, $115 per night couple occupancy, and $125 per night double occupancy, plus 10% occupancy tax.

Travel:
The Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is approximately 18 miles north and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately 90 miles south of Pacifica. LAX has shuttle service between the airport and Santa Barbara or Carpinteria, rental cars or taxi's are available at SBA.
Information on ground transportation will be included with your confirmation letter.

A confirmation letter with detailed travel information will be sent upon receipt of your registration. For refund on accommodations at the Ladera Lane Campus, cancellation with full refund will be accepted up to 5 days before the event. Cancellations made 1-4 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refund for cancellation on the day of the event.
