Dear Prospective Students,

I am so very pleased to be able to pass along this update on Pacifica’s application for APA Accreditation.  Dr. Cindy Carter, our Chief Academic Officer, tells us that the application is now in the “home stretch.” 

She goes on to say,

“The draft of our Self-Study is expected to be completed by June 15, 2008.  Upon completion we will send the Draft to two separate APA consultants for an external review to be completed by July 15, 2008.  Subsequently, baring unforeseen circumstances, we will make any final changes and submit the application to the Office of Accreditation by September 1, 2008 

It is exciting to arrive at this stage after so much hard work by so many members of our community.  We are inspired by what we feel is the significant contribution that Pacifica, through its perspective of Depth Psychology, will make to clinical psychology and the community of APA accredited institutions.”

We are currently accepting applications to Pacifica’s Clinical Psychology Program with emphasis in Depth Psychology.  If you would like to discuss our application requirements please contact me right away at ext 305.
