| A
Unique Oceanside Setting
At the edge of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking the Channel
Islands, and in full view of the Santa Ynez Mountains, one
of Santa Barbara's historic Spanish hotels, The Radisson,
blends indoor intimacy with outdoor ambiance for this year's
conference. In addition to the conference program, there will
be ample opportunity for socializing, exchanging ideas, and
quiet walks on the beach. Lunches are included for your convenience
and to provide an opportunity for ongoing dialogue and exchange.
Options include either a box lunch to take to the beach or
a buffet lunch to be enjoyed indoors or out.
Two Pre-Conference Workshops
Immediately preceding the conference on Friday, April 16,
we are offering two pre-conference workshops: Joseph Campbell
at the Movies with Phil Cousineau and Mid-Life Psychological
Development: Myth as Metaphor with Stephen Aizenstat
and Maren Hansen. Registration for the pre-conference workshops
will be held from 9:00-10:00 am on Friday morning. Registration
and check-in for the conference will be held on Friday afternoon
from 4:00-7:00 pm preceding the keynote presentation at 7:30
pm. The conference will end on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
Special Post-Conference Reception
All conference attendees are invited to Pacifica's Lambert
Road Campus at the close of the conference on Sunday, April
18, from 1:30-4:30 pm for a special reception and opportunity
to visit the Joseph Campbell & Marija Gimbutas Archives.
