Welcome to the M.A. Counseling Psychology Thesis Webpage
Our goal is to help you navigate the journey of thesis research and thesis writing so that you reach your academic, intellectual, and creative potential as fully as possible.

Working on your thesis is likely to play an important role in your individuation process. You may feel called or drawn to your thesis topic and excited with what you are undertaking. There are often unexpected twists and turns along the way and finally the deep satisfaction of coming to understand your research question, and often yourself, more fully. The thesis process culminates in the sharing of your findings through publication of your thesis with ProQuest. Publication of the thesis is your contribution to the rich lineage of research in the fields of counseling psychology and depth psychology.

In addition to the resources and information to be found on this site and on the Desire2Learn (D2L) website at elearning.my.pacifica.edu, each Track in the Counseling Psychology program has a Research Associate who is available to answer questions and explore options with you. As Research Associates, we find that some of our most fulfilling moments working at Pacifica come in serving as midwives and mentors to your creative process. Our names and email addresses are listed below.
