The two-year M.A. Humanities Program arose in response to those who wished to connect more deeply with their lived experiences. This yearning for meaning was expressed as a desire to meet kindred spirits in a place of mythological and depth psychological wisdom. Our intention is to share that wisdom in various contexts with professional colleagues, students, family members, and friends. The Humanities Program provides a missing link that opens doorways to understanding common patterns in human life through mythological themes and then follows those themes as they appear in history, the arts, music, literature, philosophy, and depth psychology.
