Pacifica’s vision extends psychology and mythological studies beyond the confines of the consulting room and classroom, and into the world. At Pacifica we see psychological life as the ground from which social, political, and environmental attitudes and policies arise.
In light of the imminent dangers overshadowing the contemporary world, academic pursuits can no longer remain isolated. In this weekend symposium, various Pacifica faculty will introduce an engaged Depth Psychology and an animated Mythology that brings their insights to bear on the challenges of the age. This symposium will be held at Monte Verità Conference Center in Ascona.
This symposium is a basic introduction to Pacifica Graduate Institute's approach to the study of depth psychology. It has been designed for an audience who is not familiar with Pacifica's masters and doctoral degree programs and how they may be applied to a wide variety of different disciplines.
