Segal AmeriCorps Matching Scholarship Program
Pacifica Graduate Institute is a proud participant in the Segal
AmeriCorps Matching Education Award program and is pleased to offer the
Segal AmeriCorps Matching Scholarship to qualified AmeriCorps Alumni enrolled in the MA/PhD Depth Psychology or the MA in Engaged Humanities programs.
The matching scholarship amount will be a
dollar-for-dollar match up to $4,725 per year with a maximum of $9,450
throughout enrollment in the program of study.
To qualify for the matching scholarship program, students must submit to the Financial Aid Office the AmeriCorps voucher confirming benefit eligibility.
A total of ten new scholarships will be available on a first-come first-served basis; up to five awards in each of the MA Engaged Humanities and MA/PhD Depth Psychology programs. These scholarships are not transferable, have no cash value, and will be applied directly toward tuition charges.
Recipients of the Segal AmeriCorps Matching Scholarship must be enrolled full-time in coursework in the MA Engaged Humanities or enrolled full-time in coursework or half-time in the dissertation process of the MA/PhD Depth Psychology program.
Students must submit the AmeriCorps voucher confirming benefit eligibility each year to be considered for the Segal AmeriCorps Matching Scholarship until they reach the maximum benefit. In addition, in order to maintain eligibility for the Segal AmeriCorps Matching Scholarship in subsequent year(s), students must maintain satisfactory academic progress with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and may not have more than two outstanding incomplete, failing or withdrawn grades at the end of the preceding academic year.

On an annual basis, Pacifica will assess and determine the number of AmeriCorps Matching Scholarships that will be offered. At the discretion of the Executive Management Council, Pacifica reserves the right to modify or limit the number of matching awards that will be offered.
