Our gathering will be informed by Janus, the god of gateways, beginnings, and endings. Together, we will remember our past, celebrate the present, and seed our future.

We invite you to join us. Through story seminar, lecture presentation, small group dialogue, ritual, dance and music, you will become an active participant in creating Pacifica's future.

As we stand at the crossroads between the first and second century of Depth Psychology, all of us at Pacifica Graduate Institute are excited to celebrate and cultivate our own sense of calling. In the 30 years since our beginning, much has changed in the world, in our lives, and within our field.

We invite you—our alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends—to join with us in community at Pacifica’s new Ladera Lane Campus, June 16–18. You have been an essential part of our becoming, and we long—need actually—for you to be a part of our vision for the future.

We hope you will embrace this unique opportunity to see classmates, friends, colleagues and teachers and come back to participate in campus life for what promises to be a defining weekend in the Pacifica dream.

Highlights of the Weekend Gathering will include:

  • Drumming the Story of Pacifica with Michael Meade
  • Keynote mythopoetic lecture by Christine Downing
  • Special video appearance by James Hillman, as we also help to celebrate his 80th birthday
  • Presentations of new work by Pacifica faculty and alumni
