"The deepest values and existential concerns of a people are encoded within its myths. It is a delight for me to teach in a truly unique graduate program devoted to the study of the myths, beliefs, symbols, literature, and rituals of a wide range of religious and cultural traditions. The creative vision that animates the faculty and students in this program is inspiring. Our studies together nourish the soul, kindle creativity, and expand our appreciation for the diverse ways in which human beings live their lives." - Patrick Mahaffey, Ph.D.
