Diana is Associate Core Faculty in the Masters in Counseling Psychology program and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice in Santa Barbara for 26 years. Diana is considered an expert in the field of learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorders. As part of her commitment to educating others about the diversity of learning styles, she has spent many years conducting workshops and trainings in both educational and community settings. She spent 6 years working with the chronically mentally ill. That experience was the foundation for her love of psychology and the mysteries of healing. Diana teaches Process of Psychotherapy, Clinical Practice, Group Theories and Techniques and serves as a Portfolio evaluator for M.A. theses. Diana balances her work life by pursuing her passion for great food, murder mysteries, dance, and ocean swimming. She also loves time in the garden with her cat, Lucy and singing with her husband, a professional musician. She is a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Santa Barbara Chapter of CAMFT.
