My psychotherapy practice is located in San Francisco. I am a certified adult and child Jungian psychoanalyst. I work with adults dealing with issues like relationship turmoil, career change, creative obstacles, work stress, and major life transitions. I also see children and adolescents, as well as their parents, to treat a variety of family, developmental, and adjustment issues. I have published many articles in different professional journals on topics about adolescence, addiction, group therapy, social skills development, and dreams. I also provide consultation to other mental health professionals, both in person and by phone. I have a doctoral degree in mental health from the University of California at San Francisco. I teach there in the Department of Psychiatry. I also have an M.B.A. degree from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. For 14 years, I led a non-profit organization devoted to treating troubled children and their families. We had a diverse, highly qualified staff, and the agency has been repeatedly recognized for its creativity, productivity, and the dedication of staff and board members.
