Ladera Campus view of the Barrett Center

Our mission is to create a comfortable and welcoming on-campus experience for all students so that they may feel supported in their learning and nourished in their well-being.

Lodging Policies:

Pacifica students fall under two lodging statuses: Residential and Non-Residential. Residential status applies to all non-local students, as well as any local students who elect to utilize Pacifica lodging during sessions. Non-Residential status means that a student resides locally and does not wish to utilize Pacifica lodging during sessions, or a student has an approved residential waiver form on file. Pacifica considers Local Residents to be those who reside permanently in Santa Barbara or Ventura Counties. Proof of permanent local residency is required prior to on campus attendance to be classified as a non-residential student.

Lodging through Pacifica is provided at a location dependent upon which campus your residential session is held, and is booked though Pacifica’s Guest Services staff via the Guest Services Registration form. Any changes throughout the academic year need to be submitted via email request at least one (1) week in advance of session start and are subject to availability.

Those who attend courses at the Lambert Road campus (Tracks A, LG, I, & H/HY) are lodged at a local hotel during sessions, while those that attend courses at the Ladera Lane campus (C, D, NZZ, P, V, W, X) are lodged on campus in our Residence Hall Dormitory building. On rare occasions and dependent on campus availability, programs may use an alternative campus for any given residential session. This will be noted on the academic calendar and communicated by the program and Guest Services.

Shuttle service is provided by Pacifica to transport students to and from each campus from the hotel, and a few other stops. More information can be found by clicking the box for Other Helpful Links and Information below. Pacifica does not pick up or drop off at any local airports.
