Michele received her degree from Pacifica in 2006 after a thoroughly different career in finance. She went on to work extensively with clients with substance abuse and/or considerable mental health problems. In her agency work, Michele worked for a number of years as a case manager at a substance abuse treatment program, managed a dual diagnosis program and supervised MFT and LPCC interns. Michele also has a small local private practice, where she sees patients with issues such as insomnia, addiction, codependency and trauma. While Michele uses many modalities in her work, including depth psychology, she loves to work with art, story and sand tray.  She is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Santa Barbara Chapter of CAMFT.
