Pilar Brooks

Pilar Brooks is an Ojai-based depth-oriented + somatic psychotherapist, educator, and ceremonial facilitator serving clients both locally and internationally. Rooted in the quiet rhythms of the body and the mythic language of psyche, her work supports individuals and groups in integrating expanded states, tending trauma, and reclaiming sacred relationship to self, spirit, and nature. As a teaching assistant at Pacifica Graduate Institute, she supports students in cultivating embodied presence, critical inquiry, and depth-oriented practice. Pilar’s practice blends nervous system science, depth psychology, and ancestral healing traditions, drawing from her ongoing apprenticeship with master plant teachers and Indigenous wisdom keepers in the Colombian Amazon.
