Gary is a Emeritus faculty member, he was the Director of Research and Research Coordinator for the Clinical Psychology program, and is an author, lecturer, researcher, and a practicing clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. Dr. Groth-Marnat is a leading expert in the field of psychological assessment. His textbooks are used throughout the United States and abroad in psychological assessment and testing courses. Dr. Groth-Marnat is the author of eleven books (Handbook of Psychological Assessment; Neuropsychological Assessment in Clinical Practice: A Guide to Test Interpretation and Integration; Integrative Assessment of Adult Personality; Psychological Testing and Assessment) and over 150 journal articles, monographs, and chapters in books. Dr. Groth-Marnat is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and a Fellow of the Society for Personality Assessment. Research interests include the psychological report, psychological assessment, dreams of terminally ill patients, near-death experiences, hypnosis, dissociation, and eating disorders.
