Marilyn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Pacifica alumna, who has been teaching at Pacifica since 2012. She has broad clinical experience with highly traumatized populations in community, residential, and inpatient treatment settings. She has been in private practice since 2004, and provided clinical training and supervision in both non-profit and private settings. Marilyn also has degrees in literature and performance, and taught in the Department of Theatre and Dance at California State University, Fullerton, for 9 years prior to a midlife career change. Marilyn’s clinical interests include the integration of Somatic and Jungian/Imaginal psychology for attachment trauma and lifelong growth. Her work, both as an educator and a psychotherapist, has always focused on the creative process. She is currently recording her first album of original music, along with her husband/musical partner.
