Thomas is a practicing psychotherapist based out of Santa Maria and licensed in CA, AZ, and NV. He received his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica in 2013. As Core Faculty, Thomas teaches Psychopathology and Psychopharmacology to all tracks within the MA Counseling Program, and he has previously taught Cultural Psychology, Archetypal and Imaginal Psychology, and Research courses. Working in close collaboration with health care professionals Thomas serves as a clinical consultant with Dignity/CommonSpirit Health in crisis support, medical staff wellness, and educational capacities. He has presented publicly and formally on mood and anxiety disorders, and mental health issues involving co-occurring medical diagnoses. His teaching extends to other universities and his clinical practice focuses on the treatment of affective conditions. Together with his family, he has been a resident of the Central Coast for over 25 years and is passionate about serving his community with a diversity of interests that reflect a soulful commitment to others.
