Stacey Shelby

Stacey Shelby, PhD, is an author, speaker, educator and depth psychotherapist. She is an adjunct faculty member at the Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she teaches “Psyche and Eros: The Psychology and Mythology of Romantic Love.” She is primarily a depth psychotherapist and is a Registered Clinical Counselor in Canada working internationally with women and men in various stages of personal transformation via internet. She is a certified clinical dream tender and has studied both folk medicines and yoga traditions. She works with the symbolic language of the soul and is dedicated to honoring the soul as it presents in lived experience. Tracking the Wild Woman Archetype: A Guide to Becoming a Whole In-Divisible Woman, (published by Chiron Publications, 2018) is on the subject of the individuation process as it pertains to midlife, and is relevant to both men and women. Her forthcoming book, Love of Soul: The Psychology and Mythology of Romantic Love, is due to be released in 2022. Dr. Shelby studied at Pacifica Graduate Institute and completed her doctoral research in 2014 with a specialization in Jungian and archetypal studies.
