Chair, Ph.D. Program in Depth Psychology with Emphasis in Psychotherapy
Dr. Bishop is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified psychoanalyst, and performing pianist. Dr. Bishop served for 10 years as Chair of the Clinical Psychology program. In conjunction with chairing the Psychotherapy program, Dr. Bishop currently serves as the WASC Liaison Officer for Pacifica. He has been a leader in the Santa Barbara psychoanalytic community for over 31 years and is a training and supervising Analyst at the Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis (ICP) in Los Angeles. His research interests include interdisciplinary studies and the impact of music on human behavior.
